In digital marketing; with all the technology, tactics and techniques available today; there is one strategy that hails as the mother of all digital marketing strategies.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should know by now that we live in a digital world. Your business is missing out in a big way if you’re not using any form of digital marketing strategy to sell your products and services.
So where does one start with all the available options?
There’s a myriad of marketing tactics out there, and you’ve probably tried a few of them. But the real work is in choosing the right strategy for your business. Your marketing strategy depends on your marketing goals, target audiences, personality, budget, location, and more.
Whichever direction you may choose to go, there is one particular method that helps small businesses and brands in connecting with an audience, at a personal level. There are around 3.7 billion email users in the world today, with the figure likely to grow to 4.3 billion by 2022. This shows email marketing as a viable strategy for a good while.
So, three good things to remember:
- Build an audience and get started with your email campaigns.
- Once you get going, provide value to your audience.
- Don’t forget to sell. Providing value doesn’t mean that you should provide only that. Connect with your audience, close enough to know what they struggle with, and provide solutions in your products and services.
